Giving Back to the Community

Having been part of St. Louis for more than 100 years, Moneta Group principals embrace their responsibility to support the local community. In addition to their own personal involvement in numerous charities, Moneta principals furthered their commitment to philanthropy by establishing the Moneta Group Charitable Foundation in 1999.

The Foundation provides funding to St. Louis area charitable organizations and programs with a primary focus on children, education and the elderly. All funding for the Foundation comes directly from Moneta principals and staff. Through payroll deductions, memorials and special tributes, the annual contributions to the Moneta Foundation have more than doubled each year since its inception.

Regular Foundation meetings are held at which principals and staff may suggest grants to specific organizations. Since it began gifting funds in October of 2000, the Moneta Group Charitable Foundation has donated more than $400,000 to St. Louis charities.
